A birthday cake to remember

So they say birthday parties are more for the parents than for the child, but by the second birthday, the child does get some mutual joy out of it.

Son’s 2nd birthday happened this week.

Mom and Dad held a small family celebration for him and put a few decorations up, including a birthday banner and balloons. For the birthday cake, Mom and Dad went with a car theme appropriately labeled with Son’s age and first name initial.

Son walked into the party room and immediately pointed out the brightly colored decorations.

It appears he enjoyed the celebration as much as Mom and Dad did…especially the sweet and wonderfully-looking cake.
